Welcome to the website of the Virginia Association of Clinical Counselors.We are the state chapter of the American Mental Health Counselors Association and have been serving the needs of Virginia clinical counselors since 1980.Our primary mission is that of advocacy for the clinical counseling profession in Virginia. To that end, we have legislative and advocacy committees, an ethics and standards committee, and we promote several workshops each year across the state. Other sections on the website (About VACC) will provide you a history of our achievements and contributions on behalf of our profession.
