I have been a member of VACC since licensure in 1990.

PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION

I have an Ed.S. degree in Counseling Psychology, am licensed as an LPC, and have the certifications of NCC, CCMHC, MAC, and SAP.

I have been in private practice since 1992 and have offices in both Harrisonburg and Luray. My practice is very general.

In addition to the practice I founded a Batterers Intervention Program (BIP) that now serves the counties of Warren, Frederick, Clarke, Shenandoah and Page.

WHAT YOU WANT
I am open to new referrals, to either the private practice or the BIP.

The BIP offers many opportunities for research projects; I have 14 years worth of data, as well as willing participants in 13 groups. I am always interested in participating in research projects having to do with Domestic Violence. Recidivism studies are always at the top of my list.

I am open to supervising candidates for licensure, as well as supervising graduate students. I have done both, and in both cases, the supervisee can work with clients in the practice and in the BIP.
