Professional Advocacy Committee |

Conference Committee |

Ethics and Standards Committee |
The Ethics and Standards Committee keeps VACC members abreast of rules and legislative issues which affect the practice of our profession. We address these issues through regular contact with the Virginia Board of Counseling and through newsletter articles and ethics workshops. Legislative Committee |
The Legislative Committee identifies and disseminates information about legislation that may affect our profession and for creating legislation on behalf of our profession. We work with the with the American Mental Health Counselors Association, the Virginia Board of Counseling, and various other groups to provide information and requests for action to our members.
Membership Committee |
The Membership Committee has several functions, among them coordinating our database, keeping track of memberships, and providing advice and guidance about membership issues.
